I agree with you in the broadest terms. But... Palin drug her daughter across the world wide stage. Her daughter is a minor, an underage child. It is the parent's responsibility to protect the rights of their minor children. The child is not running for office, and I agree with you that she is not part of the equation but the situation is not about that, it's a judgement question. The question is the hockey mother's judgement in exposing her daughter to such a debacle, and of McCain's choice to choose her as a running mate. I think the daughter probably has alot of parenting skills, she's probably had alot of practice in her family, but she is not fodder for the decisions "she" has made. Her mother is a different story.
